Protecting the personal information of clients is important to Oakmont Capital Management, LLC and its affiliated entities, Hammer Fund, LP and Oakmont Opportunity Fund, LP (collectively, “Oakmont Entities”). We want you to understand how we use the personal information we collect and when we disclose it. The effective date of this Notice is March 1, 2009.
The Oakmont Entities generally do not share personal customer information with any third parties except when legally permitted or required. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect the confidentiality of the information. If the information is shared, third parties are required to continue to maintain the security and confidentiality of it.
Information Oakmont Entities Collect - The following is an example of the type of personal information we may collect:
- Contact Information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
- Identification Information, such as your social security number and/or employer identification number.
- Eligibility Information, such as your assets, liabilities, and/or income.
- Third Party Information, such as information required by broker-dealers, custodians, and credit reporting agencies.
Information Shared Among Oakmont Entities -We may share client information in order to recommend and facilitate investment advisory services. You may limit our ability to share or to use any personal information by writing to us at the address set forth below.
Information Shared With Third Parties - Personal customer information may be shared with third parties that perform services on yours and our behalf, such as custodial and brokerage services. Generally, we provide third parties only with the information necessary for them to provide their respective service.
Confidentiality and Security Procedures - All personal customer information is deemed to be confidential in nature. Our employees may access such information only when there is an appropriate business or investment reason. Employees who violate these standards will be subject to strict disciplinary measures.
