Oversight & OCIO Support
We work with plan sponsors, non-profits, and public funds to design and manage investment programs aligned with their return and spending objectives. Clients often rely on us as an extension of their internal team or as their Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO). This enables a collaborative, decision-making partnership rather than a vendor relationship. We are a high-touch fiduciary alternative to the mega OCIO consulting firms who might have a minimum fee structure outside the resources of your organization.
Oakmont Capital Management, LLC Offers the following Services:
- Advice on fiduciary policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Modeling in the pursuit of an optimal asset allocation strategy.
- Identification of cost efficient investment vehicles.
- Discretionary and Non-discretionary OCIO Services.
- Monitoring of the portfolio in relation to the Investment Policy Statement (IPS).
- Performance reporting accommodating multiple custodians.
- Expertise with Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Real Estate.
- Due diligence and fee negotiations of service providers.
- Monte Carlo simulation analysis.
- Trustee training and education.
Performance Measurement
When monitoring the success of an investment program, we use performance measurement and reporting systems designed for institutions and other sophisticated investors. Performance is often evaluated relative to return objectives, risk parameters, and spending policies outlined in the Investment Policy Statement (IPS). Results are assessed against appropriate policy benchmarks, relevant peer groups, and long-term asset allocation targets.
Reporting is designed to support fiduciary oversight at the committee and/or trustee level. Depending on client needs, reports can be generated on a trailing or calendar-year basis and delivered electronically or in print. Standard reporting is typically available within a few weeks following quarter-end, with additional reporting available upon request.
Industry Trends
Through relationships with peers and other service providers, we maintain valuable insight into industry trends and evolving regulations. This occurs from formal and informal meetings. Our network of professionals includes: actuaries, ERISA lawyers, third-party administrators, insurance agents, accountants, and other investment advisors. We believe the sharing of information promotes idea generation and problem solving capabilities. This is because a concern for one client is often a concern for another.
We enjoy meeting new people and welcome all discussions. If you would like to learn more about Oakmont Capital Management, LLC, please reach out to one our professionals today.
